The Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) shows a healthcare or mental health provider has advanced, specialized training in treating emotional and mental health challenges during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Clinicians must pass a formal certification exam and log dedicated clinical experience. Additionally, clinicians must maintain ongoing training in reproductive mental health.
