Event Description
Neighborwoods is Friends of Grand Rapids Parks’ two-day, volunteer-led tree planting and community celebration! We’re planting over 200 trees in Garfield Park alongside our friends at Garfield Park Neighborhood Association. We love Neighborwoods because it’s a great time to not only just plant trees, but meet neighbors, build connections, and strengthen community bonds.
- Trees will be planted throughout the Garfield Park neighborhood on September 25, 1-4pm; and September 26, 9am-12.
- On Saturday, there will be a tree giveaway, partner resources, and a free picnic in Garfield Park from 12-2pm.
